The Greek Islands have become one of the most desirable holiday destinations in the world, but behind the beauty of the great blue sea, the white washed houses and fantastic cuisine we find an amazing and important history. We often forget that Greece is the cradle of Europe, and its culture, architecture, inventions, myths and philosophy have inspired the Romans and the Celts. Therefore, the influence of ancient Hellas can still be found in the western civilization today.
Before ancient Hellas came into existence, there were high civilizations all over the ancient world. Think of Sumeria, Babylonia and Egypt, for example. Even in western Europe, impressive megalithic sites prove that early Europeans were capable of creating huge constructions, thousands of years before the Christian Era. We now know that they had knowledge of astronomy, mathematics, as well as earth energy grids called snake lines or ley lines. It was a world we can barely imagine today. Finally, more and more people are beginning to understand that, in order to find balance again in this modern, hectic world, we need to rediscover and study this ancient past, and learn to look at our sacred and precious planet with different eyes.
Crescent-shaped Santorini (or Thíra), the precious gem of the Aegean, is a group of islands consisting of Thíra, Thirassiá, Asproníssi, Palea and Nea Kaméni in the southernmost part of Cyclades. The entire complex of Santorini's islands is still an active volcano (the same as Méthana, Mílos and Nísiros) and probably the only volcano in the world whose crater is in the sea. The islands that form Santorini came into existence as a result of intensive volcanic activity; twelve huge eruptions occurred, one every 20,000 years approximately, and each violent eruption caused the collapse of the volcano’s central part creating a large crater (caldera). The volcano, however, managed to recreate itself over and over again.
The last big eruption occurred 3,600 years ago (during the Minoan Age), when igneous material (mainly ash, pumice and lava stones) covered the three islands (Thíra, Thirassiá and Asproníssi). The eruption destroyed the thriving local prehistoric civilization, evidence of which was found during the excavations of a settlement at Akrotíri. The solid material and gases emerging from the volcano’s interior created a huge vacuum underneath, causing the collapse of the central part and the creation of an enormous pot – today’s Caldera – with a size of 8x4 km and a depth of up to 400m below sea level.
The whole island is actually a huge natural geological/volcanological museum where you can observe a wide range of geological structures and forms. Oia, for example, is located high above on a cliff called the balcony of Santorini, which offers an amazing view of the volcano.
A visit to Santorini is the ultimate gastronomic experience, as the island is a true culinary paradise! Treat your taste buds to some famous traditional products like cherry tomatoes, white egg plants, fava, caper and “hloró tyrí”, a special kind of fresh goat cheese found on the island, or why not try some of the exceptional wines produced from grapes grown in the volcanic soil of the island.

YOUR CO-HOST DURING THIS RETREAT
Originally, we are made of sounds. Eve Marie discovers the song during a hermitage in the forest, creating a resonance with the sound fabric of nature. His voice raises and deepens the experience of sound. Since then she has been passionate about singing in all its dimensions. To heal and alchimize human suffering, let our sensitive identity emerge, connect to greater than oneself. She gives workshops, shows and retreats at home and abroad, as a therapist and singer-songwriter, fascinated by the sacred heritage of our planet, visceral humanity, and the voice of the ancestors.www.evemarieroy.com
In the heart of the vibrant island of Santorini, the traces of a history and its vestiges exceed what we are taught in school and invites us into the heart of our own mystery.
The ancient sacred places of the people who preceded us, hidden in the earth and under the waters of this Mystical land murmurs an '' I remember '' that diverts the programing of our industrialized society.
It offers us the opportunity to rediscover who we deeply are.
To reconnect with our archetypal identity.
The one that sleeps within our subconscious mind, filled with potentialities.
It is through the power of group singing, these vortexes and ancient places of worship, the research of historians, archaeologists and geo-biologists, that we invite you to this journey in the heart of Memory and Sound, in an experience that will transcend linear time and space.
(This sentence confuses me. The first part doesn’t flow. Can you rewrite this?)
It is also an invitation to unleash our power of co-creation with the elements, the Akashic memories... and to feel. To activate our soul’s encyclopaedia and the gifts it contains.
WHY SINGING?
Because we are made of Sound.
The power of singing creates a resonance with our fundamental fabric, at the origin of Form.
Since the Night of Times, people everywhere are singing to heal, to modulate the essence of matter, and to work in co-creation with the matrixes that support the vital force of our planet.
Sung rituals work on vortexes of energy; at the crossroads of the ley-lines, where the ancient sacred sites unfold and fortify these great veins of vital current.
Throughout this retreat, I propose to offer moments of reconnection and re-activation through singing in these magical places.
SING WHAT AND HOW?
Over the last 5 years, I have offered multiple singing workshops, in order to deploy the sound potential of groups and individuals, as well as sound baths, working directly into the frequency fields.
When we sing together intentionally, the magic works!
It is an extremely powerful tool for directing intent.
The idea is to put our individual voice at the service of the group, the territory, to create a field of positive frequencies, reactivate the memory of the ritual and … create an expansion to restore the electromagnetic field the area.
Throughout this adventure, we will use geo-biology techniques that are simple and accessible.
No singing experience is required.
Only one call.
And your instruments are welcome.

Anneke
My name is Anneke Koremans. Since 2007 I have been a resident of the southern French department of the Aude-Pyrénées. In my spare time I enjoy photography and writing (under the nom de plume of Jeanne D’Août). Since early childhood I have been researching the history of civilization, the first centuries of Christianity, the Gnosis and Mysticism. My historical adventure novels and articles have been published in English to reach as many people as possible. In the past I have been a guest on many radio shows, both in the USA and in Australia, but also on a live TV Talk Show in Las Vegas in 2013. In 2012 I was interviewed for a now world famous TV documentary called "Himmler and the Holy Grail", giving me a page on IMDb. I also worked together with the well-known American filmmaker Frank LaLoggia, to write a synopsis for a possible screenplay for my first book "White Lie ~ The Quest for The Forbidden Relic", which is available together with its sequel, "The Eye of Ra", on Amazon http://www.jeannedaout.com
www.jeannedaout.co for all the direct links). In the Summer of 2015, I became a member of the ITW (International Thriller Writers Organization). In 2016, both "The Forbidden Relic" and its sequel "The Eye of Ra" were also published on Kindle eBook. I am excited to announce that my third book: "The Ringing Rocks of Atlantis", will be officially launched during this retreat, on 22nd May between 5 pm and 7 pm at the Imperial Med hotel, Kamari, Santorini.
